​The U-Play success story began in 2001 when our founder Hency Cheng started a trading company exporting private label pet diapers from Shanghai to retailers around the world.  Business grew rapidly and U-Play was incorporated in 2006 in Wuhu, China to provide the best combination of quality and value for incontinence, personal care and hygiene products for consumers and their pets.  U-Play built its first factory back in 2009 and today has 6 factories totaling 2.5 million square feet in the U.S., China and Thailand with more than 800 employees.

​U-Play has numerous strategic partnerships including Sumitomo Precision, the industry leader for Super Absorbent Polymer, and UniCharm Corporation, one of Japan’s largest incontinence and hygiene manufacturers. U-Play Corporation went public in 2015 and is listed today on the Beijing Stock Exchange.  U-Play was awarded the prestigious China Benchmark Award in 2017 for emphasis on quality and technological advancement, alongside a commitment to sustainability and was also named a Top 100 Most Promising Brands in 2021.
