U-Play continues to evolve with new advances in product design and production technology. U-Play has over 100 patents and a state-of-the-art 28,000 sq. ft Research & Development Center of Excellence located at its global headquarters in Wuhu, China staffed by 27 design engineers and research technicians developing and testing the latest breakthrough technologies to improve efficacy, comfort and protection for pets and their homes.
ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
Environmental responsibility continues to be a focus. U-Play is awaiting FSC Certification (Forest Stewardship Council) for efforts on wood pulp sourcing and production to ensure forests are managed in an environmentally, socially, and economically responsible way. U-Play also refined the PE (polyurethane) film layer to be recyclable and is combining sustainable plant-based bamboo fiber to the absorbent core on some products.
