The Quality Control Analyst is responsible for ensuring our product(s) meets the established production standards of quality including reliability, usability, and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and implement quality standards of the product

  • Evaluate adequacy of quality standards of the product, ensuring there is no damage to the product

  • Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data

  • Plan, conduct, and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure the finished product quality

  • Inform the operator if it is found that the product does not meet the quality standards; recommending adjustments

  • Measure the products with equipment such as a ruler

  • Ensure the code date for each bag and box that being produced

  • Perform tests on the product using the qualification test procedure provided by the company

  • Remove all the products that fail to meet the production standards

  • Inspect the materials being use in the packaging area like bags and boxes, and ensure they are a match in size, name, and color

  • Collect and compile statistical quality data

  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system

  • Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities

  • Record the results of the inspection through the test reports

  • Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements

  • Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time

  • Due to the environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold

Requirements

  • Must be available to start immediately

  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts of 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am

  • Must possess great attention to detail

  • Effectively communicate information both verbal and written

  • Ability to analysis and problem solve

  • Utilize lab equipment as needed to perform duties

  • Use metrics and statistical methods to obtain quality outcome
